This morning I turned on the radio and heard what appeared to be the guitar solo to Free Bird (you know... "what song is it you wanna hear?). But what was really strange was that they were playing it on Hand Bells. And it was awesome! They played the solo note for note.
They're called
The Raleigh Ringers. I checked their site and found a
Song List. They do a mixture of traditional, classical and Christmas songs (Tchaikovsky, Bach, The Nutcracker, O Come All Ye Faithful) along with rock tunes. Some of the songs that caught my eye were:
Bohemian Rhapsody, Dream On, Hotel California, Nights in White Satin, Pinball Wizard, & Rock You Like a Hurricane (The Scorpions).
It was almost a little disturbing to hear them play classic rock on hand bells. But I must say it was done extremely well.

Where Do The Bullets Land?
Wow, so
We Got Him! Huge news! Huge news!
As I was watching
Fox News this morning I saw tons of Iraqi people firing weapons up in the air in celebration. And they're doing this right in the streets of the city. So where do the bullets land? I've always wondered about this. What goes up has to come down right?
Just curious, that's all...
