Goodbye To The Blinking Clock
Well folks, it's a beautiful day for DVD's. The official announcement is out. VHS has been targeted for termination.
Dixon's, Britain's largest electronics retailer, has pulled all VHS units off of their shelves. And it's only a matter of time before Walmart and Target follow. A day is coming soon when you won't be able to purchase a new VHS machine.
As I was reading a few news articles about this I had to chuckle when they said that the police report that most thieves (home burglars) won't even take them. Haha...

Microsoft's Search Engine
On Thursday, Microsoft will launch a search engine that they claim will compete with Google. Microsoft has been using Inktomi to power the back-end of their search services. But now they will roll out their own tool.
Competing with Google is going to be a challenge. Google is still small enough to be agile. Young enough to be risky. And creative enough to force any challenger to rise to a new level.
I love competition...

Lock 'Em Up!
Spam Scam Lands 'Em in the CanPut them in a tiny, cold, lifeless cell. Take away their freedoms. Take away their name and give them a number. Force them to read 1,000 pieces of SPAM each morning before they get breakfast.
